me in the morning these days

For the past few days i was so worked up about different things and the whole life in general that i was not able to pay the required attention towards myself. Then one day the dark clouds hanging over my life suddenly cleared. And in the bright sunshine that followed i just had to put on my running shoes and get out of the stuffy room and into the early morning darkness. I had D for company. And yes how can i forget the poopy birds. But nothing could take away my newly acquired springiness.

A summer vacation is not complete without a trek to atleast one of the many forts around pune. This water colour illustration was done after a trek to Purandar. The entrance to the fort had left an impression on my mind somewhere.

Simple Rug

During summer i was sitting at home. felt like making some colourful stuff. So i got out some of the old blouse pieces which my mom was never gonna use, cut them in stips and went to work and tada... here's the final result.
